Abstract

ABSTRACT The car rental business has several business processes, including the car ordering process, payment, returns and order cancellation. From several of these business processes there are still problems encountered where the rental system carried out at Yaka Transport is not fully computerized. Renters sometimes have difficulty finding information on the whereabouts of car rental places. Sometimes after finding the place, the car being rented is not what you expected or the car is being rented by someone else. The aim of creating this information system is to make it easier for renters to find car rental services and make ordering easier. This information system was created to make it easier for prospective renters to access information about car rentals and make reservations. With a web-based information system, potential customers can access it from various places. Apart from getting information about the car rental, customers can also order a car according to the criteria provided by the rental owner. The design of this car rental information system uses the UML method. Graphic diagrams consist of use case diagrams and activity diagrams. The programming language used is PHP and MYSQL database. By building this car rental information system website, it is hoped that it can overcome existing problems such as all transaction processes and car ordering data processing.
