Abstract

ABSTRACT Amira Bakery is a business in the field of selling food, especially cakes. Buyers can buy cakes in the shop and order cakes in small or large quantities. The system for recording orders at Amira Bakery is still done by writing them in a book. One day before the production process, the admin must provide the number of cakes to be produced for orders the next day. Order counting is done manually and repeatedly. Therefore, calculation errors often occur because admins enter the wrong order amount when recalculating orders. Illegible writing is also one of the problems that hinders the order calculation process. The solution to deal with this problem is to build an information system. The aim of this research is to build a web-based production planning information system that can minimize calculation errors and assist production planning. The production planning information system was built using the HTML programming language. The result of this research is a production planning information system that can produce information on production schedules and production needs based on the date and type of cake ordered. The information system built can help admins manage orders and make it easier to obtain production data. Keywords: information system, orders, production, web
