Abstract

ABSTRACT Assyifa Inpatient Primary Clinic is a clinic located in Jonge Hamlet, Pacarejo Village, Semanu District, Gunungkidul Regency. So far, the Assyifa Inpatient Primary Clinic has carried out the process of recording patient data, recording examination results and patient medication still manually on paper and then manually recording them into a book. When recording manually, officers often experience deficiencies and inconsistencies in data entry when recording data. In addition, the large number of requests from patients to carry out examinations can result in data being piled up, difficulty in finding data, and the possibility of data corruption. Making monthly reports also experiences problems because the large number of patients and still using manual methods means it takes a long time to report activities for one month. The Assyifa Inpatient Primary Clinic also has not implemented efficiency in the patient registration process, where patients who have previously collected their identity data must continue to collect their identity data again the next day they come for examination or treatment. Given the problems previously mentioned, an information system is needed that can be used to assist Assyifa Inpatient Primary Clinic staff in managing patient data collection, examination data and drug prescription data. This system was designed by applying a structured waterfall methodology and adopting an object-based approach using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) which consists of 3 diagrams, namely usecase, activity and class.
