Abstract

The car rental company Kurnia Transport is a service business that provides car rental. In promoting cars to be rented by providing information to each other through word of mouth, the WhatsApp application, and Facebook so that information about the details of the car to be rented is not accurate enough. Transaction data collection tends to be accurate but slow in processing, because car orders at Kurnia Transport are made by recording the identity of the renter, type of car, rental schedule and daily rental price in the rental book. With this website, renters can easily order a car according to their needs without having to come directly to the car rental place first, and car rental transaction reports can be more accurate. With this car renter information system, it can make it easier to rent a car quickly, accurately and without errors in recording rental schedules and secure data storage, can provide information on car availability and can provide transaction reports to Kurnia Transport. The method used is waterfall, as well as several software that helps in creating the system, namely PHP, MySQl, and Chrome. The result of this application design is an online-based application that can make it easier for customers to search for cars that are currently available, various types of cars, rental prices, payment payments that can choose the desired payment method, car rental scheduling and return schedules. With this application, all ordering processes are fast, accurate, and there are no similarities in loan data and secure data storage.
