Abstract

Social welfare is an important aspect of life. Social welfare itself means fulfilling the spiritual, material and social needs of society so that they can get a good life. The government is an important actor in ensuring social welfare in social life. Currently, the government has played a role in ensuring social welfare, especially in Sleman Regency, through the data collection program for Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS). The PPKS data collection program in Sleman Regency currently still uses a manual system starting from surveys to data processing. This is because the system that was running previously could no longer be accessed so the system began to be abandoned by officers. The manual data collection process certainly makes it difficult for officers to input data, manage data and verify data. This also has the potential to cause data inaccuracies. From the existing problems the author tries to provide a solution by building a web-based PPKS data collection information system. In building this information system the author used the waterfall solution method. The system is designed using the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database. The information system built provides input features, displaying data, editing data, and deleting data. The system can also display statistical data which will help officers filter data according to group.
