Abstract

Prans Cafe is a cafe and restaurant located on Jalan Mpu Sedah, Nglinggi, South Klaten, Central Java Province. This cafe has many employees to help manage the business so that it runs smoothly. With so many employees working, cafe owners need a system that can help manage attendance to find out their employees' performance at work. Presence is the activity of taking data to discuss the amount taken at an event or activity, where an activity can be completed well involving someone's activeness. It's the same as managing a Prans Cafe business which will require a lot of people. Therefore, there is a need for good supervision of employee attendance. The increasing development of smartphone users can be used to simplify and improve the work experience. The use of mobile provides more efficiency and effectiveness related to ease of accessing and retrieving information, however using the QR Code or barcode application can also be used as a direct presence replacement for the old system where the attendance process carried out still uses a signature as proof of presence. The attendance system with QR Code is also able to avoid common problems, such as lost or damaged reports.
