Abstract
This internship activity aims to apply hotel and hospitality theories that have been studied at The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. The internship will be held from February 2 to August 2 2023 in the Front Office Department of The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. The basic methods used in this internship are Observation and Field Practice. The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta was chosen as the location for internship practice because this hotel is one of the hotels that can provide the opportunity to apply English optimally in all activities. Students are placed in the position of bellboy who will assist with check-in and check-out activities. Students are also required to be able to handle guests with special needs and complaints that may be submitted. All activities within the Front Office Department require problem solving skills, accuracy, emotional control, and cooperation.
