Abstract

Balikpapan adalah sebuah kota yang terletak di provinsi Kalimantan Timur, Balikpapan merupakan daerah yang masih memiliki potensi ekonomi untuk terus berkembang. Perkembangan di Balikpapan semakin meningkat dan masih berkelanjutan dalam waktu yang lama. Balikpapan merupakan salah satu kota maju dan berkembang yang dimana sebagai pintu gerbang akses menuju provinsi-provinsi yang berada di Kalimantan Timur dan sebagai kota minyak . Menurut database SIAK Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil Kota Balikpapan, Desember 2017 jumlah penduduk Balikpapan mencapai 778.908 jiwa. Dengan bertambahnya penduduk di Kota Balikpapan ini, Pemerintah kota Balikpapan sudah merencanakan pengembangan dan pembangunan kawasan perumahan studi pengembangan hunian vertikal, pengembangan infrastruktur, sarana dan prasarana permukiman, dan pengembangan dan pembangunan rumah susun dikawasan perkotaan . Untuk itu Pemerintah Kota setempat merencanakan penambahan kampung susun dengan pendekatan Ekologi adalah Perancangan Rumah Susun di Balikpapan dengan pendekatan Arsitektur Ekologi diharapkan dapat mewadahi dan memenuhi kebutuhan tempat tinggal yang nyaman untuk masyarakat terhadap Rumah susun, baik itu dari kualitas, kenyaman hingga keamanaan Rumah Susun yang ada di Kota Balikpapan. Balikpapan is a city located in the province of East Kalimantan,Balikpapan is an area that still has economic potential to continue develop. Developments in Balikpapan are increasing and still sustainable for a long time. Balikpapan is one of the developed cities and develop which is the gateway to access to the provinces province in East Kalimantan and as an oil city. According to SIAK database of the Population and Civil Registry Office of Balikpapan City, December 2017 the population of Balikpapan reached 778,908 people. With increasing residents in the city of Balikpapan, the city government of Balikpapan has planning the development and construction of the study housing area development of vertical housing, development of infrastructure, facilities and infrastructure settlements, and the development and construction of flats in the area urban .For this reason, the local city government plans to add flats with an Ecological approach is the Design of Flats in Balikpapan with the Ecological Architecture approach is expected to accommodate and fulfill the need for a comfortable place to live for the community towards flats, both in terms of quality, comfort to the safety of flats in the city Balikpapan
