Abstract

Kota Palu memiliki luas sekitar 395,1 km², dengan jumlah penduduk berkisar pada angka 342.754 jiwa (estimasi sensus 2015). Kota ini terletak tepat pada koordinat 0°54′S 119°50′E, tepat berada di garis Khatulistiwa. Kota palu ini memiliki iklim tropis seperti wilayah Indonesia Koentjaraningrat. masjid Agung Darussalam yang terletak di Palu, Sulawesi Tengah, merupakan tindak lanjut dari ditetapkannya Sulawesi Tengah sebagai daerah tingkat satu pada tahun 1964. Tahun 1975, pemerintah daerah, ulama, dan beberapa ormas menggagas pembangunan sebuah masjid yang representatif dengan citra Kota Palu sebagai kota religius. Masjid terbesar di Sulteng seluas 2.500 meter persegi itu baru dibongkar setelah mengalami kerusakan berat akibat gempa 7,4 SR pada 28 September 2018 lalu. Dan sekarang sedang mau berlangsung tahap pembangunan masjid, tersebutTerkait rencana pembongkaran masjid tersebut, telah dilakukan penandatanganan kesepakatan antara pemerintah provinsi yang diwakili Kadis Bina Marga dan Penataan Ruang Provins Sulteng H Syaifullah Djafar dengan pihak penyedia jasa atau perusahaan. Pencarian dan pengumpulan data ini terdiri dari 2 macam, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer merupakan data yang diperoleh dari penelitian penulis secara langsung dengan sumber yang terkait. Sedangkan data sekunder merupakan data yang diperoleh secara tidak langsung, tetapi dikumpulkan oleh orang lain, dan diolah kembali oleh penulis. Konsep pendekatan yanag akan di bangun yaitu Arsitektur Islam mempunyai konsep secara filosofis dalam penerapan hubungan mansia dengan tuhan dan hubungan manusia dengan manusia serta bahwa lingkungan binaan yang dihadirkan harus menjamin keselamatan dunia-akhirat, baik pada eksistensi fisik maupun nonfisiknya, objek dengan subjeknya, lahir dengan batinnya, raga dengan jiwanya dan beberapa konsep fasad sebagai corak arsitektur islam yang akan dimasukan di desain bangunan (Noe’man, 1993). The area of Palu city is about 395.1 km², with a total population of around 342,754 people (2015 census estimate). This city is located exactly at coordinates 0°54′S 119°50′E, which is right on the equator. Palu has a tropical climate like other regions in Indonesia (Koentjaraningrat). The Grand Mosque of Darussalam, located in Palu, Central Sulawesi, is a follow-up to the determination of Central Sulawesi as a level one area in 1964. In 1975, the regional government, ulama, and several mass organizations initiated the construction of a mosque representing Palu City’s image as a religious city. The largest mosque in Central Sulawesi, covering an area of 2,500 square meters, has just been demolished after being heavily damaged by the 7.4 SR earthquake on September 28, 2018. Currently, the construction of the mosque is in progress. Regarding the plan to demolish the mosque, an agreement has been signed between the provincial government represented by the Head of the Department of Bina Marga and Spatial Planning of Central Sulawesi Province, H. Syaifullah Djafar, and the service provider or company. The data collected consist of 2 kinds, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data are obtained by the author directly from related sources. Meanwhile, secondary data are obtained indirectly, collected by other people, and reprocessed by the author. The approach that will be used is Islamic architecture, which has a philosophical concept in the application of human relations with God and human relations with humans. In addition, the built environment that is presented must guarantee the safety of the world and the hereafter, both in its physical and non-physical existence, object and subject, physically and mentally, body and soul, and several facade concepts as a style of Islamic architecture that will be included in the building design (Noe' man, 1993).
