Abstract
Hakikatnya Kegiatan workshop, pameran, pertemuan, rapat, seminar, dan kegiatan kesenian, di kota wonogiri saat ini pada umumnya di wadahi dalam suatu tempat seperti Gedung serbaguna yang berada di pusat kota. Namun, hal tersebut di rasa masih kurang melihat dari fasilitas yang di miliki beberapa Gedung serbaguna atau exhibition center yang dimiliki masih memiliki keterbatasan mulai dari area parkir dan fasilitas penunjang lain yang belum cukup mewadahi. Sehingga kuran optimal sebagai area exhibition center. menurut Fred Lawson ada beberapa indicator yang merujuk pada exhibition center yang dirasa ideal diantaranya Public accsess, Sensitive areas, Security generally, Flood lighting, Maintenance,Emergency access dan egress,Technical plant. Dari studi amatan Exhibition Center di kota Wonogiri dengan mempertimbangkan indicator yang disampaikan oleh Fred Lawson, maka kota wonogiri ada potensi untuk mengembangkan sebuah Exhibition Center dengan mempertimbangkan Local Wisdom atau kearifan local di kota tersebut meninggat kota Wonogiri sendiri memiliki keragaman kearifan local yang cukup beragam. In the city of Wonogiri, most workshops, exhibitions, meetings, seminars, and artistic events take place in the city center, such as in a building that can be used for many different things. However, it is felt that this is still insufficient in light of the facilities owned by several multipurpose buildings or exhibition centers. Their parking areas and other supporting facilities are insufficiently accommodating, preventing them from being optimal as exhibition center areas. According to Fred Lawson, several indicators refer to an exhibition center that is considered ideal, including Public access, Sensitive areas, Security generally, Floodlighting, Maintenance, Emergency access and egress, and Technical plant. Based on the observational study of the Exhibition Center in the city of Wonogiri, which took into account the indicators presented by Fred Lawson, this city has the potential to develop an Exhibition Center by incorporating local wisdom. Considering that the city of Wonogiri possesses a variety of diverse local knowledge.
