Abstract
Kata kunci: Kata kunci: Beton, Bakteri Bacillus Subtilis, kuat tekan, Keretakan Concrete is a material that is often used in various constructions today, in general, concrete is used because it has many advantages such as easy to form and has a large compressive strength. Concrete also has disadvantages such as brittle. One way to anticipate this is to use added materials in concrete. This research uses the method of encapsulation of the bacterial hydrogel Bacillus Subtilis which is used as a concrete material. This study was conducted to determine the positive and negative effects of the use of bacteria. The percentages of bacteria used were 7%, 9%, 11%, and 13%. This method is done by mixing bacteria with carboxy methyl cellulose, nutrient broth, acrylic resin, and aquadest and then formed into small granules. The results of testing the compressive strength of normal concrete aged 28 days were 29.18 MPa, encapsulated concrete aged 28 days experienced a large decrease in compressive strength as much as 124.80%, 161.46%, and 1443.91%, while for encapsulated concrete 13% crumbled. during the soaking process due to many cavities and voids.
