Abstract

Labuan Bajo merupakan kota Super Premium dan Ibu kota Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia, yang terkenal akan pariwisatanya. Selain itu Labuan Bajo juga merupakan satu-satunya pintu gerbang menuju Pulau Komodo yang merupakan salah satu dari 7 lokasi di Indonesia yang di jadikan Unesco pada tahun 2013 masuk dalam Daftar Warisan Dunia. Nama Labuan Bajo semakin tenar di dunia dan mancanegara sejak terpilihnya Pulau Komodo salah satu dari 7 keajaiban dunia pada tahun 2013. adanya rencana Perancangan Terminal Pelabuhan Marina sebagai pelabuhan kapal pesiar tentu memiliki kebutuhan khusus, seperti perlunya fasilitas yang menunjang kegiatan penumpang yang tergolong berpenghasilan menengah ke atas. Untuk menarik minat wisatawan/pengunjung sebagai pelaku utama maka diperlukannya terminal yang secara visual memiliki sifat atraktif (daya tarik) sehingga bentuk dan tampilan bangunan dipilih sebagai objek yang akan diolah. analisis perencanaan wujud pendekatan arsitektur neo vernakular didasarkan pada prinsip arsitektur yaitu, hubungan langsung, hubungan abstrak, hubungan lansekap, hubungan kontemporer, dan hubungan masa Depan. Desain Terminal Pelabuhan Marina ini akan diterapkan neo vernakular yaitu kearifan lokal Rumah adat Manggarai, diolah secara atraktif sesuai dengan perubahan jaman menggunakan unsur-unsur yang lebih modern. Kemudian aplikasi pendekatan neo vernakular lainnya yaitu bentuk-bentuk menerapkan unsur budaya, lingkungan termasuk iklim setempat diungkapkan dalam bentuk fisik arsitektural, tata letak denah, detail, struktur dan ornamen. Labuan Bajo is a Super Premium city and the capital of West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia, which is famous for its tourism. In addition, Labuan Bajo is the only gateway to Komodo Island, one of 7 locations in Indonesia designated on the World Heritage List by Unesco in 2013. The name Labuan Bajo has become increasingly famous abroad since the election of Komodo Island as one of the world's seven wonders in 2013. The plan to design the Marina Harbor Terminal as a cruise ship port certainly has special needs, such as the need for facilities that support the activities of passengers who are in the upper-middle-income category. To attract tourists as the main actors, it is important to design a visually attractive terminal; thus, the shape and appearance of the building are chosen as the focus of the designing process. The analysis using a neo-vernacular architectural approach is based on architectural principles: direct relationships, abstract relationships, landscape relationships, contemporary relationships, and future relationships. The design of the Marina Harbor Terminal will apply a neo-vernacular approach, namely the local wisdom of the Manggarai traditional house, which is attractively designed following changing times using more modern elements. Then, other neo-vernacular approaches are implemented in the form that apples cultural elements; the environment, including the local climate, expressed in the architectural physical form; floor plan layout; details; structure; and ornaments.
