Abstract

Peceland merupakan sebuah kawasan wisata di Kota Madiun yang berbasis sejarah dan edukasi. Peceland sendiri dirancang sebagai salah satu ikon baru bagi Kota Madiun, dimana perancangan Peceland diharapkan mampu mengangkat citra dan perekonomian dari Kota Madiun melalui sektor pariwisatanya. Kota Madiun merupakan salah satu kota yang memiliki banyak sejarah dan kebudayaan, akan tetapi belum adanya wadah atau tempat yang dapat digunakan sebagai pelestarian dan pembelajaran mengenai sejarah dan kesenian lokal dari Madiun. Perancangan museum menjadi salah satu upaya pemerintah Kota Madiun dalam memberikan fasilitas dalam hal penyediaan tempat bagi para seniman kota untuk melestarikan kesenian serta kebudayaan lokal. Museum P.E.C.E.L menjadi salah satu bangunan yang terdapat pada kawasan wisata Peceland. Pada Museum P.E.C.E.L memberikan gambaran mengenai Kota Madiun secara menarik. Dengan mengangkat tema P.E.C.E.L (Place, Educated, Contemporer, Entertaint, and Locality) pada museum yang betujuan untuk mampu menjadi wadah dan fasiltas bagi masyarakat yang ingin mengetahui sejarah, perkambangan, hingga hasil karya asli dari Kota Madiun. Perancangan pada Museum P.E.C.E.L didasari oleh permasalahan yang timbul berupa penghadiran konteks kebudayaan dan locality yang dikemas dengan pemberian wawasan/edukasi yang menarik serta mempertimbangkan untuk keberlangsungan di masa yang akan datang. Peceland is a tourist area in Madiun City which is based on history and education. Peceland is designed as one of the new icons for Madiun City. Peceland design is expected to be able to raise the image and economy of Madiun City through its tourism sector. Madiun City is a city that has a lot of history and culture, but there is no place that can be used for preservation and learning about the history and local arts of Madiun. The design of the museum is one of the efforts of the Madiun City government in providing facilities in terms of providing a place for city artists to preserve local arts and culture. P.E.C.E.L Museum is one of the buildings located in Peceland tourist area. P.E.C.E.L Museum provides an interesting overview of Madiun City. The theme P.E.C.E.L (Place, Educated, Contemporary, Entertain, and Locality) at the museum aims to be able to become a forum and facility for people who want to know about history, development, and the original works of Madiun City. The design of the P.E.C.E.L Museum is based on problems that arise in the form of the presence of a cultural context and locality that is packaged by providing interesting insights/education and considering its sustainability in the future.
