Abstract

Kota Banda Aceh sering dijadikan sebagai tuan rumah expo kuliner aceh, salah satu expo kuliner terbesar diadakan pada tahun 2019 di kota Banda Aceh yang, dengan nama Aceh Culinary Festival (ACF). Festival ini memperkenalkan masakan khas Aceh kepada masyarakat dan juga wisatawan lokal ataupun mancanegara, pemerintah Kota Banda Aceh juga mendukung secara penuh untuk mengembangkan wisata kuliner di Kota Banda Aceh. Untuk mewujudkan pusat kuliner khas Aceh menerapkan strategi khusus dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur neo vernakular, Neo vernakular adalah interpretasi dari arsitektur vernakular yang disatupadukan dengan arsitektur modern. Dalam penerapan arsitektur neo vernakular sering ditemukan bentuk bentuk yang sangat modern namun secara konsep masih menggunakan konsep daerah setempat. Prinsip-prinsip arsitektur neo vernakular yang diterapkan dalam perancangan yaitu hubungan langsung, Hubungan abstrak, Hubungan Landsekap, Hubungan Kontenporer, Hubungan masa depan. Hasil perancangan diharapkan akan dapat membangkitkan tradisi dan budaya dengan meggabungkan aspek lokal dan modern, menjadikan sarana dan wadah edukatif dalam pelestarian dan promosi kuliner, mengembalikan unsur unsur budaya dan filosofi lokal ke dalam bangunan, dan juga penerapan arsitektur neo vernakular dari aspek fisik dengan menggunakan kombinasi material lokal dan modern, merapkan ornamen ornamen dan warna kontras pada interior bangunan, lalu pada aspek non fisik dengan menerapkan filosofi dan kepercayaan masyarakat Aceh dalam 3 unsur yaitu agama, alam, dan sosial, yang di terapkan dalam bentuk dan ruang dalam. The city of Banda Aceh is often used as the host of Aceh culinary expos. One of the biggest culinary expos was held in 2019 in the city of Banda Aceh under the name Aceh Culinary Festival (ACF). This festival introduces Acehnese specialties to the community as well as local and foreign tourists. The Banda Aceh City Government fully supports the development of culinary tourism in Banda Aceh City. To realize a typical Aceh culinary center, a special strategy was applied using a neo-vernacular architectural approach. Neo vernacular is an interpretation of vernacular architecture combined with modern architecture. In the application of neo vernacular architecture, very modern forms are often found, but it still use the concept of the local area. The principles of neo vernacular architecture applied in the design are direct relationships, abstract relationships, landscape relationships, contemporary relationships, and future relationships. The results of the design are expected to be able to evoke tradition and culture by combining local and modern aspects, making educational facilities and containers in the preservation and promotion of culinary, and returning elements of local culture and philosophy into the building. The neo vernacular architecture from the physical aspect uses a combination of local and modern materials and uses ornaments and contrasting colors in the interior of the building. In the non-physical aspect, it applies the philosophy and beliefs of the Acehnese people in 3 elements, namely religion, nature, and social, which are applied in form and internal space.
