Abstract

Pendekatan arsitektur atraktif dalam perancangan Pusat Informasi dan Wisata Air Waduk Gajah Mungkur bertujuan mewujudkan suasana visual yang menarik dan tidak membosankan bagi orang yang melihat, dengan menciptakan kesan kontras, mengejutkan, dan dinamis terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya, melalui tatanan pengelolaan tampilan, fungsi dan fasilitas. Waduk Gajah Mungkur sejauh ini hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber air dan PLTA, sedangkan dalam sektor pariwisata belum dikelola dan dimanfaatkan dengan lebih optimal atau lebih baik. Untuk itu maka dirancang Pusat Informasi dan Wisata Air Waduk Gajah Mungkur sebagai sarana edukasi dan wisata dengan memberikan informasi atau pengetahuan mengenai sejarah maupun PLTA Waduk Gajah Mungkur, dan sebagai sarana yang memfasilitasi olah raga, dan wisata air masyarakat luas khususnya Kabupaten Wonogiri. Perancanagan Pusat Informasi dan Wisata Air Waduk Gajah Mungkur didasari pada RPJMD Kabupaten Wonogiri yang merencanakan 46 program pembangunan di 6 titik lokasi, salah satunya di Waduk Gajah Mungkur. Melalui konsep gubahan, konsep tapak, konsep struktur, dan konsep utilitas dapat menjawab visi missi RPJMD Kabupaten Wonogiri. Yaitu menjadikan Waduk Gajah Mungkur, dirancang unik lebih berdaya guna. The attractive architectural approach in designing a Tourism & Water Recreational Center of Waduk Gajah Mungkur (the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir) aims to create an attractive and not-boring visual atmosphere for the viewer by creating a contrasting, surprising, and dynamic impression of the surrounding environment through the management of appearance, function, and facilities. So far, Waduk Gajah Mungkur has only been used as a water source and hydropower. In contrast, the tourism sector has not been managed and utilized more optimally. Therefore, the Tourism & Water Recreational Center of Waduk Gajah Mungkur is designed as a means of education and tourism by providing information or knowledge about the history and hydropower of Waduk Gajah Mungkur, as well as a means to facilitate water sports and recreation for the wider community, especially Wonogiri Regency. The design of the Tourism & Water Recreational Center of Waduk Gajah Mungkur is based on the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) of Wonogiri Regency, which plans 46 development programs in six location points, one of which is Waduk Gajah Mungkur. Through the concepts of composition, tread, structure, and utility, it can answer the vision and mission of the RPJMD of Wonogiri Regency, which is to make Waduk Gajah Mungkur uniquely designed to be more efficient.
