Abstract

Kabupaten Pacitan merupakan salah satu dari 38 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Timur yang terletak di bagian Selatan Barat Daya. Memiliki berbagai potensi wisata yang luar biasa akibat dari kondisi geografis daerahnya yang menjadikan hal tersebut salah satu nilai keunggulan dari Kabupaten Pacitan. Pada kajian ini membahas mengenai perancangan pusat informasi wisata di Kabupaten Pacitan dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur kontekstual. Permasalahan yang muncul dan berkaitan dengan perancangan pusat informasi wisata di Kabupaten Pacitan diselesaikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur kontekstual dan didasarkan pada teori yang relevan serta sesuai dengan kaidah dan proses desain yang berlaku pada umumnya. Penyesuaian terhadap modul, tipologi, lansekap, kondisi klimatologi, budaya sekitar, serta permasalahan mengenai pengguna bangunan, disesuaikan pada desain bangunan pusat informasi wisata dengan merespon masalah-masalah yang muncul tersebut. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, kemudian dapat disimpulkan bahwa masalah yang ada dan berkaitan dengan perancangan pusat informasi wisata dapat disesuaikan dan diselesaikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur kontekstual. Pacitan is one of 38 regencies/cities in East Java Province, located in the southern southwest, with various extraordinary tourism potentials due to the area's geographical conditions, making it one of the advantages. This study discusses the design of a tourist information center in Pacitan Regency using the contextual architectural approach. Based on relevant theories and under generally accepted design rules and processes, the contextual architectural approach could resolve problems related to designing a tourist information center in Pacitan Regency. Adjustments to modules, typology, landscape, climatological conditions, surrounding culture, and problems regarding building users were adjusted to the design of the tourist information center building by responding to the problems that arose. The analysis results concluded that the contextual architectural approach could adjust and solve existing problems related to the design of the tourist information center.
