Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang mempunyai wilayah sumber air permukaan sebesar 6% dari seluruh sumber air di dunia. Seiring peningkatan populasi manusia maka tingkat kebutuhan air bersih juga menjadi semakin tinggi. Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Tirta Bumi Sentosa Kebumen merupakan perusahaan yang bertanggung jawab dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih di Kabupaten Kebumen dengan 12 unit cabang pelayanan dimasing-masing kelurahan. Kuantitas air merupakan jumlah kebutuhan air bersih yang dibutuhkan manusia dalam kegiatan tertentu. Kualitas air merupakan karakteristik mutu yang dimiliki dan dibutuhkan untuk pemanfaatan dari berbagai sumber air dengan standar kualitas air bersih berdasarkan PERMENKES RI No.492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah pemakaian air bersih oleh pelanggan, serta mengetahui kuantitas dan kualitas air bersih disuplai ke pelanggan oleh Perumda Tirta Bumi Sentosa Kebumen di Kelurahan Gombong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui jumlah pemakaian air serta pemenuhan kuantitas air pelanggan PDAM Kebumen di Kelurahan Gombong dan pengujian secara langsung di air pelanggan untuk mengetahui kualitas air bersih dengan melihat parameter air terkait kekeruhan (turbidity). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di Kelurahan Gombong dari 50 pelanggan diperoleh Kelompok A 22 pelanggan dengan pemakaian air ≥ 500 l/hari, sedangkan Kelompok B 28 pelanggan dengan pemakaian air ≤ 500 l/hari selama satu bulan. Kelompok A jumlah pemakaian air pelanggan sebesar 16150 l/hari dengan rata-rata pemakaian air 130,68 l/hari/jiwa sudah memenuhi kebutuhan air yang didistribusikan Perumda Tirta Bumi Sentosa Kebumen, sedangkan Kelompok B jumlah pemakaian air pelanggan sebesar 6566,67 l/hari dengan rata-rata pemakaian air 55,17 l/hari/jiwa belom memenuhi. Kualitas air menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan bau chlor yang berbeda dan untuk kekeruhan air rata-rata di Kelompok A 0,72 NTU dan Kelompok B 0,70 NTU memenuhi standar kualitas air yang telah ditetap PERMENKES RI Nomor 492 tahun 2010 tentang Persyaratan Kualitas Air Minum yaitu 5 NTU. Regional Public Company Water Drinking Tirta Bumi Sentosa Kebumen is a company that is responsible for meeting the needs of clean water in Kebumen Regency with 12 service branch units in each village. Water quantity is the amount of clean water needed by humans in certain activities. Water quality is a quality characteristic that is owned and needed for the utilization of various water sources with clean water quality standards based on PERMENKES RI No.492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of clean water used by customers, as well as to determine the quantity and quality of clean water supplied to customers by Perumda Tirta Bumi Sentosa Kebumen in Gombong Village. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method to determine the amount of water used and the fulfillment of the quantity of water for PDAM Kebumen customers in Gombong Village and direct testing on customer water to determine the quality of clean water by looking at water parameters related to turbidity. Based on the results of research in Gombong Village, from 50 customers, Group A obtained 22 customers with water usage ≥ 500 l/day, while Group B 28 customers with water usage ≤ 500 l/day for one month. Group A, the customer's water usage is 16,150 l/day with an average water usage of 130.68 l/day/person, which has met the water needs distributed by Perumda Tirta Bumi Sentosa Kebumen, while Group B the customer's water usage is 6,566.67 l/ day with an average water consumption of 55.17 l/day/person is not fulfilled. The water quality shows that the presence of a different chlorine odor and for the average water turbidity in Group A is 0.72 NTU and Group B is 0.70 NTU, meeting the water quality standards set by PERMENKES RI Number 492 of 2010 concerning Drinking Water Quality Requirements, namely 5 NTU.
