Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED NEW STUDENT ADMISSION INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Kretek 1 Elementary School) Nurul Larasati, Yuli Asriningtias, S.Kom., M.Kom. Information Systems Study program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: larasatiwae7@gmail.com, yuli_asriningtias@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT SD Negeri 1 Kretek is one of the government-owned elementary schools with the best level in Kretek District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Currently, SD Negeri 1 Kretek is still carrying out registration services and recording using manual recording methods by officers, but there has been a loss of recording data due to the large amount of registrant data so that the admin or new student admissions committee will have difficulty managing the data. Therefore, the author aims to implement a web-based new student admission information system at SD Negeri 1 Kretek. The method used in system design is to analyze design components including database design, Unified Modeling Language, Entity Relationship Diagrams, relationship tables and interface design. The system built was tested using Black Box Testing. The result of this research is a website that can simplify and assist the new student admissions committee in collecting data on prospective new students, as well as help improve the quality of new student admissions at SD Negeri 1 Kretek.
