Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION AND WEB-BASED INVENTORY INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: CV SATYA ABADI, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta) M. Arindo, Adityo Permana Wibowo, S.Kom., M.Cs. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: Arindo728@gmail.com, Adityopw@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT CV SATYA ABADI is a company that operates in the field of making cartoon boxes or making cardboard boxes with Corrugated single wall, double wall and triple wall types with very diverse sizes. CV SATYA ABADI still records manually so that employees record daily transactions in diaries and Excel. The problem that often occurs is that because recording is still manual, errors often occur in picking up goods by employees who do not comply with the SOPs in the factory, or whether they take more or less goods. Therefore, a web-based inventory information system was built with the aim of creating a web-based information system that can help minimize stock outs and manage inventory well. In this research, the author used a research method which is a method for collecting data including interviews, literature study and observation, while in system development using a prototype method which includes needs analysis, design, prototyping, user evaluation, improving prototypes, implementation and maintenance. By implementing a web-based inventory information system, it can make it easier for the production admin, warehouse, marketing, director to access the inventory management information system, monitor inventory, and monitor incoming and outgoing goods.
