Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED INVENTORY MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM Muhammad Riski Dwi Susanto, Dodi Hariadi, S.T., M.Eng. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : mriskidwisusanto@gmail.com, dodihar@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT CV Sinar Abadi Multimedia is a company that operates in the field of providing goods and services including office equipment, multimedia equipment, computer equipment and banking equipment. CV Sinar Abadi Multimedia still records inventory amounts manually using Microsoft Excel and Google Drive so they still have difficulty in the goods management process in obtaining inventory information. The aim of this research is to create a web-based information system that can minimize stock outs and manage inventory data. The data collection techniques applied in this research were observation, interviews and literature study. In this research, the work process uses the PHP programming language and the database used in the system is MySQL. With this web-based inventory management information system, it can make it easier for admin, warehouse, finance and owners to access the inventory management information system, monitor inventory conditions, manage and report incoming, outgoing and returned goods.
