Abstract

WEB-BASED FURNITURE INVENTORY INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: PT Sinar Sejahtera Mandiri, Sleman, DIY) Mutahir Ali, Adityo Permana Wibowo, S.Kom., M.Cs. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: mutahirtahir.ali@gmail.com, Adityopw@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT PT Sinar Sejahtera Mandiri is a branch of the company PT Chitose Internasional, Tbk which operates in the furniture sales sector. So far, inventory data processing is still carried out using a simple computerized system, namely MS, Excel software, so that inventory calculations take quite a long time and there is the potential for errors in calculating the stock of goods in the warehouse. To deal with this problem, a more focused computerized system will be designed and it is hoped that it can solve the problems currently being experienced by PT Sinar Sejahtera Mandiri. The method used in this research is literature study by reading journals and data from the internet and field study by taking data directly from PT Sinar Sejahtera Mandiri. The result of this research is to produce an inventory information system that is able to solve problems related to inventory. This inventory system uses DFD, ERD diagrams, reports using the PHP and MySQL programming languages for database processing. After the researchers created a goods inventory information system, the system built could facilitate the work of the parties involved, especially PT Sinar Sejahtera Mandiri.
