Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED CAR RENTAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: CV. Indorental Yogyakarta) Indah Tri Rohmah, Yuli Asriningtias, S.Kom., M.Kom Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : indahhtrhmh@gmail.com, yuli_asriningtias@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Information technology has now entered all fields, one of which is business. Many business people use this technology to support business progress. The problem with CV Indorental is that the transaction process and data recording are still carried out using note paper. The weakness of this process is that it allows data to be damaged and lost, in one month there is some data that is lost or damaged, so that the data in the ledger becomes inaccurate. Given these problems, CV Indorental needs a Web-Based Car Rental Information System to support the business in order to achieve maximum results. In conducting research for the final assignment the author has stages, namely, data collection, data analysis, system requirements analysis and system design analysis. Based on the background of the problem, the expected result of the final research project is the design of a web-based car rental information system. Keywords: Information Systems, Car Rental, Web.
