Abstract

WEB-BASED WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM Muhammad Imam Fajri, Muhammad Zakariyah Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : muhammadimamfajri1@gmail.com, muhammad.zakariyah@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Tight business competition requires companies to be able to determine the right business strategy, in order to survive from competitors. The use of information systems in company business processes plays an important role in processing data to produce information according to company needs. In a company, the warehouse is an important part of the distribution and supply chain. In manufacturing companies, there is generally a packaging warehouse as a place to store various types of packaging for packaging manufactured goods. Management of data recording the entry and exit of warehouse goods that are not recorded in the system, and the lack of information regarding the layout of goods storage in the warehouse are common problems in warehouses. This research aims to build a web-based warehouse management system, based on common problems that occur in warehouses. The methods used in this research are problem identification, analysis and design, implementation, system performance testing, and report preparation. The results achieved in this research are building a web-based warehouse management system that is capable of managing and processing data in an integrated and computerized manner based on the results of system performance testing of the system being built.
