Abstract
Car rental is a business that operates in the field of four-wheeled vehicle rental services. The car loan and return information system is sometimes considered less effective because reports are still done in writing. Tenant data, return dates and transactions are still carried out in writing using paper notes manually. This method is considered less efficient in saving time and energy. To facilitate data processing on the part of the car rental provider, a website is needed that is based on information management needs related to the management of transaction data. This system was created using the Hypertext Programming Language (PHP) and using a MySQL database. It is hoped that the design of this car rental information system can help and overcome problems in processing transaction data for the renting party. This information system for collecting, returning and payment data is expected to simplify the data processing process and is also expected to be able to overcome existing problems in managing car rentals. The implementation of this system is designed to make it easier for employees to process data.
