Abstract

This report aims to determine the mechanism for using and effectiveness of implementing an inventory accounting information system based on the Easy Accounting System as well as user perceptions of the Easy Accounting System Application at PT Maju Bersama. PT Maju Bersama is a construction company which operates in the services, trading and supplier business of hotmix, readymix and precast products in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The mechanism for implementing an inventory accounting information system based on the Easy Accounting System includes the inventory accounting system at PT Maju Bersama and procedures for using the Easy Accounting System. The effectiveness of implementing an inventory accounting information system based on the Easy Accounting System was obtained from an assessment of aspects of system effectiveness through direct interviews. User perceptions of the Easy Accounting System based on questionnaire data processing. The research results show that the effectiveness of implementing an inventory accounting information system based on the Easy Accounting System is considered to be effective. User perception of the Easy Accounting System is that this system helps users in processing daily business transactions and makes a positive contribution to business activities.
