Abstract

ABSTRACT GIS is a system used to enter, store, examine, integrate, manipulate, analyze and display data related to locations on the earth's surface. Technological advances provide benefits to society, especially in the tourism sector. There is a need for the latest information about tourist attractions because of the interest of the public and tourists in tourism. This mobile-based geographic mapping application for tourist attractions in Ngawi Regency is designed to make finding information about tourist attractions in Ngawi Regency easier. This application allows users to view a map of tourist attractions in the area and view information about each existing tourist attraction. This application processes tourist data. The data is processed and stored using Firebase then designed using the React JS and React Native frameworks with the Java Script programming language. The results of this research are that the system can help the tourist search process and display tourist locations in Ngawi Regency. It is also hoped that Ngawi Regency can become a tourist destination that is better known and in demand by the wider community. Keywords: Application, Mapping, Tourism, GIS, and Mobile.
