Abstract

ABSTRACT Nunut Berkah Tour & Travel is a transportation service business located in Cilacap, as one of the transportation business players who develops information technology systems, so as not to be eliminated from competition in online-based transportation businesses which are experiencing rapid development. Nunut Berkah Tour & Travel created a web-based travel booking system and mobile tracking, which can help improve service and performance in serving ticket reservations and help find out where the vehicle is. Through a web-based ticket ordering system and mobile tracking as a solution that makes it easy for Nunut Berkah Tour & Travel service users to find out departure schedules, order tickets online and find out where travel is. The results of designing a web-based and mobile tracking ticket ordering system can provide the required information quickly, precisely, effectively and efficiently, because users can find out departure schedules, order tickets online, and find out the location of travelers. This will be useful for Nunut Berkah Tour & Travel to attract the interest of users and potential travel users with the online service facilities provided which offer convenience in ordering tickets, thereby increasing the number of travel users. In creating the ordering system using the PHP programming language 'hypertext preprocessor' which is widely used for handling the creation and development of a website and can be used in conjunction with HTML, a barcode scanning feature which will provide information to the user about the location so that he can get the initial map position from the position where the user is located.
