Abstract

ABSTRACT Cryptography is a logical step in how to hide and secure secured data information from those who do not have rights to the data. The implementation of exams in schools is intended to measure the knowledge and intelligence of students or students in remembering the lessons they have been given. So far, exam questions created by teachers have only been given manually to the admin section in the form of paper documents, so exam question data often leaks. From this problem, the researcher was motivated and tried to provide a solution to the problem of data leakage regarding exam questions faced by providing security using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) cryptography. In this research the author was able to produce an application to secure exam question data using the AES method through the Encryption and Decryption process using a key/password. This application will be implemented in data security for exam questions that have been determined using a Web-based system. Keywords: Cryptography, AES Algorithm, Exam Questions, Encryption, Decryption
