Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of information technology has presented various innovations, including employee payroll information systems. The Samdede Perkasa Cooperative is a savings and loan cooperative located in the city of Yogyakarta and is located at Jl. Munggur No.51, Klitren, Kec. Gondokusuman, Yogyakarta. The problem faced by the Samdede Perkasa cooperative is that the payroll system used by the cooperative still uses manual or conventional methods using Microsoft Excel to calculate employee salaries, so there is the possibility of errors in the salary calculation process which will result in delays in salary payments. Another problem is in the field of security. system because there are no access rights that protect the system so that anyone can access data from the payroll system. This research aims to develop a web and Android-based payroll information system that can be used to manage salary data for Samdede Perkasa Cooperative employees. The web-based system was built using PHP, CSS, Javascript programming languages, using the Codeigniter 3 framework, and using a MySQL database. Meanwhile, Android-based systems are built using the Kotlin and Java programming languages. The data collection method used was observing the Samdede Cooperative office and conducting interviews with cooperative employees. The research results show that the construction of a payroll information system at the Samdede Perkasa Cooperative can help the employee payroll process become faster and more effective.
