Abstract
ABSTRACT As technology develops, fingerprint machines have been adopted in attendance management in various workplaces, including the East Belitung Regency Culture and Tourism Office. Although effective, these machines face challenges such as location limitations, lack of accuracy, and high maintenance costs. To overcome this problem, researchers built a mobile-based electronic presence application that is integrated with facial recognition technology. By utilizing advances in face detection and GPS, this application can reduce the potential for fraud, and provide greater flexibility in employee attendance management, as well as providing solutions in tracking and managing employee productivity.
