Abstract
ABSTRACT Technological developments in Indonesia are currently increasingly rapid, making it easier for people to obtain, store and manage data and information, one of which is the existence of an information system. Academic information systems are a variant of information systems intended to handle academic matters. Education is very important for Indonesia's young generation. Therefore, the application of this technology is very necessary for the world of education. Not a few schools still use manual recording to collect student data, one of which is Al-Ikhlas Lubuk Linggau High School. With manual recording, errors are often found in recording and even data is lost. Here the role of technology is very important to overcome this by creating a mobile-based academic information system.
