Abstract

ABSTRACT Resto Ifshrim Food is a business that operates in the field of selling various types of processed food made from shrimp. This Ifshrimp Food restaurant is located in Yogyakarta City. The absence of a connected system between the food data processing systems used by this restaurant, causes the data updating process from this restaurant to be slow. Apart from that, the storage media in this restaurant still uses manual books which are easily damaged, torn and damaged. So the owner finds it difficult to store food data. This restaurant also has an ordering system where you have to come to the restaurant and speak via chat, so this will make it difficult for buyers to order food at this restaurant. The application that will be designed in this research is to make ordering food easier for consumers. Researchers will develop this application system by creating a food ordering application which aims to make it easier for consumers to order and in the features of this application there are also several features that will be developed, such as the access zone for this application is only in certain cities such as Yogyakarta City. The result is efficiency in ordering and collecting food data. This system uses a web service application for ordering food menus on the Android-based user side which can be integrated with the web admin application on the restaurant side to manage food menu recording. In the design process, a food menu ordering application for a restaurant was created. And this application is only for serving restaurant menus. Keywords: web service, Android, ordering, mapping
