Abstract

ABSTRACT This research discusses the design and development of an Android-based Pop Culture event ticket sales information system. The aim of the research is to create an application that can assist in the process of selling Pop Culture event tickets online. The application will make it easier for users to order tickets, as well as provide information about upcoming Japanese pop culture events. The application will also make it easier for the committee to manage ticket sales, manage user data, and manage sales reports. The application will be developed using the Flutter programming language using Android Studio as an Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Apart from that, the application also uses a MySQL database as a place to store user and transaction data. After going through the development and testing stages, the application is considered ready for use. Keywords: information system, ticket sales, Pop culture event.
