Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to optimize the use of e-government in Selang Village, with a focus on licensing services. The main problem faced is that the current system requires people to come to the sub-district office to carry out the licensing process. This causes difficulties in managing files and recapitulating data, as well as slowing down the performance of population administration. In this research, e-government is utilized as a solution to improve the quality of public services, reduce bureaucracy, and speed up the licensing process. By developing an Android-based licensing service application using the React Native framework with the JavaScript programming language, the public can easily access licensing services online and speed up the licensing process. The result is the creation of technological innovations that make it easier for the public to obtain information and obtain permits, as well as improving the quality of service from the sub-district. It is hoped that the use of e-government can bring significant benefits in improving public services at the Selang Village Office. Utilizing e-government through developing an Android-based licensing service application is an effective solution for improving the quality of public services, reducing bureaucracy, and speeding up the licensing process in Selang Village, Kebumen.
