Abstract

ABSTRACT By presenting selected news information carried out by the Jogja daily company for the public to know. Officers have a role in determining selected news, however, in this determination, officers must be able to determine articles objectively. Based on these problems, this research builds a news portal application system with article eligibility using the mobile web-based vikor method. It consists of 5 criteria including news source, news article writing, news location, type of news interest, type of reporter. Alternative data used is the assessment of each article in the category. The results of this research obtained an alternative data ranking system that has a minimum victor index value of 0 to a maximum value of 1. Keywords: Ranking System, Selected News, Vikor Method
