Abstract

ABSTRACT Currently, recording of members' attendance at the Narawungngi Dasandriya Student Choir is still done manually, namely using a attendance calendar, which allows for problems such as members not bringing a attendance calendar. This causes the membership division to have difficulty in recording attendance accurately, resulting in a less effective recording process. Therefore, an attendance system is needed to increase the efficiency of the attendance recording process. The geolocation attendance system at the Narawungngi Dasandriya Student Choir is a web-based system with Location Based Service information services that utilizes the geolocation feature as a member position verification system to increase the efficiency of the attendance process carried out by members. In the process of developing this system, the waterfall method is used, where development is carried out in stages starting from needs analysis, design, planning to application trials using black box testing. Based on the results of the implemented method and system testing, the geolocation attendance system that was built can assist members in taking attendance and membership divisions in recording attendance, thereby increasing the efficiency of the attendance process.
