Abstract

ABSTRACT Technological developments are used in all sectors or fields, not only in applications in the gaming world, such as in the industrial or business fields, one of which is in the education or academic fields. Education in the current period or era has used a lot of digitalization, therefore we carry out our obligation, namely so that education or academics can develop and keep up with existing technology. The problem with the flow of the system used at SMAN 1 Kejobong is that it still uses manual or bookkeeping, which nowadays should all be computerized. This is done in the management of teachers, management of staff and assistants in the school environment, and student academic data, such as processing teacher and student academic data. This can make mistakes and harm many parties, the contents of the report being inaccurate will result in problems in finding the necessary data because it can take quite a long time. This research uses the Waterfall method in designing information systems, namely by analyzing the web to be created, design, implementation and testing. The information system developed at SMAN 1 Kejobong uses Python, PHP, MySql, HTML, CSS, JavaScript programming languages. This result is in the form of an academic information system which contains teaching and learning activities with academic management features such as attendance, exam schedules, student grade recaps and so on.
