Abstract

ABSTRACT Human resources are an organization within an agency that is an important asset and works as a driving force for the organization. In human resource management, technological innovation is needed to manage employment data. A company needs to manage employee data which does not require a long time but there are several problems in the form of grouping employee data, submitting leave letters and printing salary slip reports which are still done manually. Therefore, the aim of this research is to implement a REST API in a web-based human resources application to facilitate HRD's task of processing employee data related to leave letters and reports. The REST API was built using the REST architecture using the Laravel framework which supports security when exchanging information over the internet. The development method used to build and develop this application is the waterfall method. Regarding these difficulties, it is hoped that this application can help make it easier for HRD to manage employee data, create letters and reports.
