Abstract
ABSTRACT Technological developments have influenced all aspects of life, including in the field of beauty salons. Implementing mobile-based applications is a faster and more accurate solution to overcome challenges in managing beauty salons. This research aims to design and develop an application, Mobile-Based Beauty Salon Reservation (Case Study of Glamor Salon). This research describes the application of technology to increase efficiency and coordination in the beauty salon service process. Referring to beauty salon customer reviews, manual ordering via messaging applications and coming directly to the salon is a detrimental obstacle for customers. Due to long queues, and data recording is still done manually. Therefore, this research focuses on designing a Mobile-Based Beauty Salon Reservation application that allows customers to order hair treatments without having to wait in line at the salon. This application provides work efficiency for managers in managing schedules and recording customer data. By using software development methods, this research aims to provide solutions and increase the comfort of the customer experience, as well as help manage beauty salons.
