Abstract

ABSTRACT The sales process that occurs at Toko Sidoraya occurs where the goods to be purchased must be taken to the cashier's desk and then the customer carries out the payment process. However, not all customers can immediately take their purchases to the cashier's desk, sometimes customers have to wait for the cashier who is still recording the items purchased in a small receipt/note, and have to queue first to wait for other customers until the calculation or payment process is complete. Moreover, customers will queue for a long time if one of the other customers does a lot of shopping, which will take time and result in a reduction in customers. This carries the risk of data collection errors, as a solution to this problem the author built an Android-based Goods Request Application to assist in the process of requesting goods by customers as well as managing goods data by the Sidoraya Store. With this Android-based Goods Request Application, customers don't need to come to the shop. Customers can directly input and check the latest stock and price information for goods via Android smartphone by opening the Goods Request Application and selecting the request menu to input goods. In making this system, it was designed using Rest Api, CodeIgniter Framework, PHP programming language, database using MYSQL and software using Android Studio Kotlin and Visual Studio Code. This Goods Inventory and Goods Demand Information System will accommodate all data and information about goods data in the Sidoraya Store. This data and information will later be combined and stored centrally and systemically in a database located at the Sidoraya Store. Through this research, the Android-based Sidoraya Store Goods Request Application succeeded in overcoming problems at the Sidoraya Store.
