Abstract
ABSTRACT Simeulue Regency is one of the districts in Aceh Province. Simeulue Island or Simalur is an island in western Sumatra. Located approximately 150 km off the west coast of Aceh, it is also the government island of Simeulue Regency in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Its geographical position is isolated from the main land. The eastern part of this district is lowland, while most of the island is famous for its beaches. The large number of tourist locations in Simeulue Regency has not been supported by a maximum information dissemination process, resulting in a lack of visits to tourist locations in Simeulue Regency. This research aims to develop an Android-based geographic information system for tourist attractions in Simeulue Regency. System development method using the water falls model. The geographical information system application for tourist attractions was built to maximize the process of disseminating tourist location information to the public. so that information about tourism is always up to date. With location-based services, it makes it easier for users to get to tourist locations in Simeulue district. Keywords: Geographic Information System, Tourism, Mobile, Mapping, Website
