Abstract
ABSTRACT The need to care for animals is one of the important things, so pet owners must take the time to take care of their pets, so that a business has emerged that provides various types of pet needs, including the need for pet care and animal care services, namely Petshop. In carrying out the animal care or care process, customers need to go to the shop and ask about the availability of care schedules and stock of cages, so it takes quite some time. This research aims to assist in the animal care or care transaction process, so that customers can carry out transactions and check service availability without having to come to the shop by building an Android-based application that can reach all customers. The design of this application uses the Dart programming language with the help of the Flutter framework to make it easier to create Android applications and the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language with Laravel as a framework for building REST API web service technology so that Android applications can be integrated with a central database. Based on analysis and trials, the development of an Android-based pet care and boarding reservation application by implementing the REST API can make it easier to provide services and transactions to customers and Petshop owners.
