Abstract

ABSTRACT Human life cannot be separated from primary needs. Clothing is a primary human need that functions to protect the human body. Current world developments mean that clothing can not only protect the human body but also develop into fashion which of course requires the services of tailors to sew clothes according to consumer needs. The process or way customers get the tailoring services they want currently still uses word of mouth, ordering tailoring services from a tailor who has subscribed or has been known for a long time. Another method used is to print media and make it into a nameplate at the place or house of the sewing service provider. Currently many home tailoring services and customers still use these methods which are still less efficient for a tailor and potential customers to connect and subscribe to each other. This research aims to develop an application for ordering sewing services to make it easier for service providers and consumers. This application development uses a prototype model. The programming language used is Java / Kotlin using the PHP framework, namely Codeigniter as the rest API framework and Firebase for the database. This application is expected to make it easier for consumers to get tailoring services, automatically making it easier for tailors to promote their services.
