Abstract

ABSTRACT Technological developments are currently very rapid, as if all activities can be carried out with Android-based applications, as well as transportation in the car rental sector. The old process of getting car information from Gahara Rent Car was done by asking and coming directly to the rental place. With this car rental application, users can get car information along with a booking system that can be accessed in an Android-based application. This application will also make the manager's work easier with the admin web, the manager can add data such as adding car information, confirming orders, confirming the return of the car at the right time. If there is a delay, the admin system automatically imposes a fine on the renter, therefore the old system is running on Gahara Rent Car, it will be developed with a new system, namely online using Android, making this application using Android Studio and Visual Studio Code as the XAMPP programming language as a MySQL database with Waterfall development.
