Abstract
ABSTRACT Currently, educators are faced with demands to show creativity in providing learning to their students. One example of an innovative approach is using a fruit theme based on Augmented Reality (AR). However, limited educational facilities limit the widespread use of this technology. Therefore, it is important to utilize technology to stimulate students' interest and motivation to learn. Currently, learning about fruit still often uses conventional methods, such as picture books which only display objects in 2D dimensions. However, with the use of augmented reality, students can experience more in-depth and interactive learning. The method used in this research is marker-based, which has been proven effective in providing a more interesting learning experience. The test results of the developed application show that its functionality has been proven to be good. By combining markers and objects on the Unity platform, the application is able to display 3D objects well at a marker distance of 5 cm to 60 cm. This shows that this application can be implemented effectively in a learning context. Thus, the use of augmented reality technology in fruit learning not only enriches students' learning experiences but also opens the door to a more interactive and fun learning approach.
