Abstract

ABSTRACT In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, advances in the field of internet technology continue to develop in human life as well as in church spirituality, with this the church also recognizes the importance of utilizing information technology to provide services to the people, especially the Sekabuk people. This research discusses the design of a mobile web-based St. John of Sekabuk Catholic parishioner information system application, which aims to facilitate access to church information. This application was created by considering the needs of Sekabuk parishioners, including information about worship procedures, worship attendants, announcements, activity schedules, weekly readings, and devotionals, which are expected to help and facilitate the process of obtaining information. A simple and easy-to-use interface design is also a focus in the design of the application. Applications are made using Android Studio with Kotlin programming language. The testing system that was carried out using the blackbox method, the methods used in data collection were observation, documentation, and interview methods. The results of this study are in the form of applications formed by designing information processing about St. Yohanaes Sekabuk Catholic Church. Users can access mobile-based applications. While the admin can manage data using the website. The test results using the blackbox method are said to be successful because all data entered can be inputted correctly. This application is expected to help and facilitate the staff of St. John Sekabuk Catholic Church in obtaining Church information.
