Abstract

ABSTRACT Manual waste management that is not effective and efficient is one of the problems of waste accumulation in Indonesia. This research was conducted to overcome this problem by developing a system that utilizes the REST API in a waste bank data collection application that uses two platforms, namely a website for waste bank officers to manage data such as types of waste, customer information and officer data. Meanwhile, a mobile platform is provided for customers to view their waste disposal history and add new data. This application was created using a MySQL database, Bootstrap framework, Visual Studio Code and Android Studio. This application development uses the waterfall method which involves a series of stages starting from analysis, design, coding, testing, to support and maintenance. Functionality testing with black box testing shows that this application can run well and according to needs. Keywords: waste bank, mobile, data collection, rest api, website
