Abstract

ABSTRACT Some factors, such as a spike in the number of customers during the weekend, pose quite a challenge for employees in reservation management. Gravito Coffee still provides conventional reservation services, including the need for customers to physically visit Gravito Coffee to make a reservation, and busy environments often make it difficult for customers to do so. In addition, the absence of information media results in a lack of information available to customers, and the reservation process still relies on manual recording. Therefore, we need a system that can increase the efficiency of the reservation process. The reservation system at Gravito Coffee is a mobile-based system, utilizing mobile technology to make searching for information easier. In the development process, this system uses the Extreme Programming (XP) method with an object-oriented approach. The stages of this method start from the planning, coding and testing stages using black box testing. In addition, this system can have a significant impact on the progress of the field of computer science. Based on the results of the implemented method and system testing, the mobile-based reservation system created can assist customers in making reservations, thereby increasing time efficiency and assisting waiters in recording. It is hoped that with this application, the ordering process at the cafe will become more comfortable for customers, and it is hoped that the ease of ordering will also contribute to increasing customer satisfaction.
