Abstract
ABSTRACT Channel Computer Shop is a trading company located in the Ciamis Regency area. This store is privately owned and operated. Its main concentration is selling desktops, laptops and computer, desktop and laptop repair services. This research aims to analyze the problems faced by computer channel stores in manual bookkeeping and propose a solution in the form of transformation to computerized bookkeeping. Manual bookkeeping is still used to track inventory of goods traded by computer channel stores. The current system often experiences inaccuracies in recording inventory, inventory reports that do not match the stock of goods, and tiring search procedures because you have to open files one by one to find the items you need. The discussion focuses on identifying weaknesses in manual bookkeeping systems, such as limited data access, difficulties in financial reconciliation, and the risk of fraud. Therefore, the author created a website-based application to record and create better inventory reports with the support of the First In First Out (FIFO) method. The findings of this research indicate that the transformation to computerized bookkeeping is a strategic step for computer channel stores to increase efficiency, transparency and accountability in stock management.
