Abstract

ABSTRACT Every year, PPDB (New Student Admission) experiences the same problem where prospective students have difficulty choosing the major they will choose in vocational school. Choosing a major is a problem that many prospective students experience because there are many aspects that must be considered. Based on these problems, this research was created with the aim of making prospective students know what majors are relevant based on their potential. This research implements the C.45 algorithm on a website with the Streamlit framework to determine major recommendations. The RIASEC Personality Test which consists of Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Erterpricing and Conventional personalities plays a role in predicting, strengthening and convincing prospective students in choosing a major. The results obtained are major classification which produces test data accuracy of 62.50%. Keywords: C.45, Vocational School Department, Classification, Streamlit.
